Okay, here's the fist installment of PokeTalk for the Pokemonly inclined. This edition:
The 1 Hit Wonder Strategy
The 1 hit wonder is a strategy for offence only. To successfully pull it
off, you need 6 pokemon with varying types, high speed, and very high
attack/special attack. Good choices: Gengar, Typhlosion, Random fully
evolved flying type(those things are crazy fast!) ect. Then, take a good
look at that pokemon's stats. I will use my Typlosion, Flariekins, as
an example.
Flariekins Male
Lv. 100 Rash
HP: 281
Ak: 207
Df: 196
Sp.Ak: 282
Sp.Df: 169
Speed: 262
Moves:
Cut
Solarbeam
Earthquake
Flamethrower
As you can see, he is very well trained. He was my starter and both his
attack and Sp. Atk are in the 200s. Speed and HP are also very high.
Anyone facing him will have a challenge, trying to defeat him. Now,
let's look at items. He is holding a Charcoal. As you may or may not
know, when a pokemon uses a move of it's type, the move gets some bonus
power. Charcoal powers up fire type moves and thus, Flariekins being a
fire type, makes for a super powerful flamethrower(which had a power of
95 and accuracy of 100 to begin with). Solarbeam helps me with the water
types, while earthquake with other fire/poison(?) types. Cut's just
there 'cause sometimes, when a pokemon's HP is low, I don't want to
waste a high power move. Thank you and please comment below on what
should be in the next episode!
